Samuel Mensah saw 58 minutes of action as Ostersund FK were walloped 7-1 by Goteborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Saturday afternoon.

The Ghanaian defender produced a performance but was replaced by Nebiyou Perry.

Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yussuf and Swedish striker Robin Soder scored a brace for the home side with Lasse Vibe and Sebastian Erisksson netting the other. 

Nigerian striker Jordan Attah Kadiri got the consolation for Östersunds.

Despite suffering the humiliating defeat, Östersunds are still 12th on the table.

Samuel Mensah has been a spine for the club, making 19 appearances this season.
