Striker Fatawu Safiu has married his girlfriend Adila Jafaru in an islamic ceremony on Sunday, 5 January, 2020.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian forward and his wife made their vows before their close friends and family at the Encom Hotel in Techiman.
Some of the known personalities at the ceremony included former Kotoko and Black Meteors captain, Yussif Chibsah AND former Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Fatawu joined the list of footballers who traded their single-hood for marriage at a colourful ceremony.
The ex-Asante Kotoko striker left the Porcupine Warriors to sign for Swedish second-tier side Trelleborg FC in August last year.
He initially joined on a four-month loan before making it permanent in last year November.
