Mohammed Muntari has extended his contract with Al-Duhail for another three years.
The Ghaiana-born Qatari striker joined Al-Duhail in 2017 from Lekhwiya
Muntari was born and raised in Ghana, but early in his career moved to Qatar and became a naturalized citizen. He was called up to the Qatar national team in December, 2014.
He made his debut on 27 December 2014 in a friendly against Estonia, scoring his first goal.
Last week, Muntari helped Al-Duhail to beat Al Ahli Doha 1-0 in their last game of the season on Friday to win the Qatari championship.
Al-Duhail won the league with 52 points from 22 matches. Only a point separated from second placed Al Rayyan SC.
Muntari made 19 appearances this season and scored 8 goals ensure Al-Duhail win their 7th league title.
